The MSI Vertical Laminator VL1000 is engineered for precision, consistency and high-volume catheter manufacturing. Featuring the advanced Microswirl 360° thermal nozzle, the VL1000 delivers uniform heating around the product, reducing hot and cold spots typically seen with flat or C-style nozzle technologies. With options for four or ten high-efficiency heating nozzles, the system maximizes airflow for faster cycle times and increased production throughput.

An intuitive touchscreen PC interface allows operators to save and recall multiple parameter profiles with ease. The system supports up to six length and speed transitions in a single cycle and includes tubing guides to maintain perfect centering within the heat zone. Each nozzle has its own independent temperature control, and universal product grippers eliminate the need for tooling changes. The adjustable loading height ensures ergonomic and comfortable operation for any user.

Designed to pair seamlessly with SteegerUSA braiding and coiling machines, the VL1000 provides uniform lamination of multi-durometer tubing, delivering high yields and reliable, repeatable catheter production.
