The Dymax BlueWave® 200 V2.0 is a robust and high-intensity UV light-curing Spot Lamp System designed specifically for the small-area curing of adhesives, coatings, and potting materials. This system provides up to an 8-mm diameter spot of UV light, and the light can be emitted through a liquid Lightguide (sold separately), which can be either hand-held or clamped into position, offering versatility in various applications.

• Mobility and Flexibility: The Lightguide is designed for complete mobility, and can be easily clamped onto assembly equipment or workstations for repetitive operations.
• Safety Measures: The system includes precautions to avoid exposure to UV light, such as instructions to only engage or remove the Lightguide when the light is off, along with a lightly tightened setscrew for additional safety.
• Sophisticated Design: The system's anodized aluminum housing encases an electronic Power Supply, Circuit Protection, Bulb/Reflector Assembly, Internal Light Filter, Cooling Fan, Lightguide Mount, Bulb and Unit Status Indicator Lights, and an integral Shutter.
• Controlled Cooling: A thermostatically-controlled Cooling Fan ensures optimal operating temperatures, with warnings against covering or blocking the fan.
• UV Source: Powered by a 200-Watt, medium-pressure arc metal halide bulb, the system offers optimal light output, designed for continuous operation.
• Intensity Control: The Blue Wave 200's intensity control feature allows manual adjustments to offset the natural degradation of the bulb, ensuring consistent performance.
• Shutter Modes: Electric Shutters are equipped with both timed and manual operation modes, enhancing the system's functionality.
• Versatile Power Supply: Operating on line voltages between 100 and 240 VAC, and frequency between 50 and 60 Hz, the auto-ranging Power Supply provides proper voltage and current to the lamp.
• Maintenance Indicators: A Change Bulb Indicating Light signals when bulb replacement is required, and Fan Filters should be changed or cleaned frequently to maintain proper ventilation airflow.
• Additional Safety Features: The unit is equipped with a Thermal Shutdown Sensor, a Cover-Closed Switch, and a Lightguide Sensing Switch, adding layers of safety to the operation.
