• Durable Construction: The unit is encased in an anodized aluminum housing, providing durability and protection to the electronic power supply, circuit protection, bulb/reflector assembly, and other essential components.
• Cooling System: A thermostatically controlled cooling fan ensures optimum operating temperature. Fan filters should be frequently changed or cleaned to prevent blockage and reduced ventilation airflow. It's important to note that the cooling fan must not be covered or blocked.
• Patented Intensity Control: Unique to this model is the patented intensity control, allowing operators to manually adjust the output intensity to compensate for bulb degradation. This ensures consistent results during both process validation and production.
• Bulb Technology: The unit employs a 200-Watt short-arc mercury-vapor bulb, mounted in a reflector and pre-focused to provide the optimum light output. Rated for continuous operation, it stands up to demanding industrial applications.
• Shutter System: Electric shutters are included, with both timed and manual shutter operating modes, giving users the flexibility to control exposure precisely.
• Safety Measures: The BlueWave 200 V1.1 is equipped with a thermal shutdown sensor for internal temperature control, and a bulb status indicator light. If the bulb extinguishes due to a momentary power failure, the unit needs to be turned off, cooled, and then restarted.
